Fire2 Mastering Delivery Checklist
Use this checklist to ship error-free masters with Fire2. It mirrors the “golden path” we track in telemetry: trial → activation → QC → report → handoff.
- Prep & ingest — Import masters/stems; confirm sample rate/bit depth; label versions.
- Run analyzers — Loudness, peaks, headroom, phase/polarity; note any clip or DC issues.
- Checksum & integrity — Generate/verify MD5 for all deliverables; log results.
- ISO/DDP validation (Studio/Label) — Validate disc images/DDP sets; confirm TOC and track order.
- Metadata sanity — Spot-check label copy, ISRCs, UPC/EAN, and sequencing before export.
- Reports — Export delivery/QC report PDFs for clients/labels; attach checksum logs.
- Archive — Package audio, reports, and logs; store in project workspace for recall.
- Handoff — Share download link to clients/labels; remind about checksum/MD5 verification.
- License/telemetry — Keep activations healthy; deactivate old machines if seats are full.
